Moleskine

Bridging the physical and digital gap

Moleskine wanted to explore the possibility of adding a killer new feature to Moleskine's smart notebook line - Social Networking. Honouring the brand's heritage of literary and visual creativity.

What aspects of the ways Moleskine is used today - journaling, sketching, creative note-taking - could be made even better or more fulfilling?

Problem

  2. Unsatisfied [75%]

Switching between the Moleskine Smart Writing, Apple Pencil, and take a photo options

What’s Next?

The process of creating this tablet application has been an exciting journey, and to further increase its appeal I would suggest exploring social networking features. This could add more value to the user which could translate into more engagement. Nevertheless, it is crucial to prioritize a comprehensive evaluation of security and privacy measures to ensure the protection of user data.

Learnings

Working on the UX design project with a team of four was a great learning experience. We picked up insights on things like communicating well, understanding how our team works, embracing user-centric design, and using agile methods. These lessons are not just beneficial for personal growth but also for our professional journey. As we move forward, these insights are set to play a key role in improving upcoming design projects, promoting success, and encouraging collaboration.
